§ Mr. Mossasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what progress has been made by the Local Government Commission for England in reviewing the West Midlands Special Review Area and the associated General Review Areas; and when draft proposals will be prepared.
§ Mr. H. BrookeI understand that the Commission has received a great many memoranda and is now discussing the problems involved with the local authorities and other bodies concerned. As I indicated in my reply to the hon. Member on 23rd March, the process is bound to take time and I am unable to say when the Commission will make its draft proposals.
