HC Deb 04 June 1959 vol 606 c35W
52. Mr. Callaghan

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will convey to the Commission investigating recent disturbances in Nyasaland the desirability of publishing their report in time for it to be studied by Parliament before the House rises for the Summer Recess.

Mr. J. Amery

I feel sure that the Commission will produce its Report at the earliest possible time and, as I said in the debate on 15th May, I think it would be wrong to give the impression that it was being jolted or hustled.
