§ Mr. E. Johnsonasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance how many war widows are now receiving National Assistance; and how many of them are over 70 years of age.
Mr. VaneI am informed by the National Assistance Board that on the latest information available they estimate
166WI hope to sign an agreement with Denmark next month, similar to those recently concluded with Norway and Sweden, and providing inter alia that medical treatment under the Danish Health Insurance scheme shall be available to U.K. Nationals, including tourists.
Announcements will be made as to the dates of operation when these agreements have been ratified.
