§ Mr. WoodOf the 256 children who left school on 1st July, 19, including 11 who were seeking apprenticeships under my Department's training allowances scheme, have registered for employment. Many others have not yet registered for employment because they are on holiday or at camp., Seventy-seven leavers have applied for pre-vocational courses. The number in local employment is 28 and the percentage not yet at work is 88.
