Mr. Hunterasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what are the reasons for his refusal of consent to the borough of Heston and Isleworth, under Section 40 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1947, to their acquiring, at an agreed price, with the vendors, the freehold interest in the land situate on the west side of Green Lane, Hounslow, forming part of Windmill farm, having an area of four and a half acres, as a site for the re-location of factories not zoned for industrial purposes in the Middlesex Development Plan.
