§ Mr. WatkinsonI am starting an experiment of this kind on roads outside towns. The necessary order will be made shortly, and the experiment will 117W start at the beginning of August on stretches of the trunk roads from London to Yarmouth, Folkestone, Brighton and Portsmouth. Providing no major difficulties then arise, I hope to extend the clearways idea to roads in London and other cities.
