§ 92. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what financial or other assistance he gives to the Voluntary Service Overseas Organisation.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydNo financial assistance has been made from Colonial Office funds to this organisation. Many of the Overseas Governments, however, provide pocket money, food, accommodation, medical care and internal transport for young volunteers from the United Kingdom. I should, however, like to take this opportunity of saying that I warmly endorse the objects of this organisation.
