HC Deb 21 July 1959 vol 609 cc101-2W
87. Sir W. Wakefield

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will make arrangements for interested parties to view plans for proposed new buildings, either at the town hall of the local authority or at the office of the London County Council, during the time which the plans are under consideration and before planning permission is granted, so as to avoid delay.

Mr. H. Brooke

The number of applications for planning permission for new buildings in the County of London is very large. If time were given not only for viewing all the plans but also for representations to be made and considered, I fear that great delay would be inevitable.
