Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will make a statement on the results 134W flowing from the Irish and British Traffic Conference, at which the Government were officially represented, for each of the last ten years, indicating how they affect the relations between the companies which are and which are not owned by the British Transport Commission and the trade between Great Britain and Ireland.
§ Mr. WatkinsonThe Irish and British Traffic Conference comprises representatives of the shipping companies operating the sea services and of the respective railway undertakings. It has no Government representative and I have no knowledge of its deliberations.
