§ The Prime MinisterThe maintenance of a high level of employment is a matter for the Government as a whole. A number of Ministers are concerned, in the exercise of their Departmental responsibilities. I do not think that their cooperation would be assisted by a special Ministerial appointment of the kind envisaged by the hon. Member.
