Mr. Osborneasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement on his negotiations with the Commonwealth Governments regarding the repatriation of criminals irrespective of race, colour or creed, from the United Kingdom; and when he now proposes to introduce legislation for this purpose and fulfil his promises on this matter.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThis matter has been receiving the active consideration of Her Majesty's Government, and consulations in regard to it will continue. Legislation in the present Session is not, however, in contemplation.
