121. Mr. Nabarro

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will request the radio industry to submit to him a plan which would ensure the protection of the revenue if valve and tube replacements for radio and television sets were freed from Purchase Tax as with spare parts for motor vehicles.

No. But if the industry has anything to add to the representations it has already made to me, I shall, of course, be ready to consider it.
