§ Mr. J. AmeryThe main purposes of Her Majesty's Government's policy in Cyprus were defined in the first paragraph of their Statement of Policy of 19th June, 1958. The Agreement reached with the Greek and Turkish Governments and the representatives of the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities on 19th February, 1959, is wholly consistent wth these purposes.
