HC Deb 24 February 1959 vol 600 c129W
67. Sir F. Medlicott

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when work was commenced on the provision of a deep-water harbour in Cyprus; and when it is anticipated that the work will be completed.

Mr. J. Amery

Work on access roads began in April, 1957.

Work on the harbour will take not less than two years to complete, but I should not like to be precise about when it can start.
