Mr. Gurdenasked the Minister of Health if he will give details of all agreements in existence between the United Kingdom and other countries, both in and outside the Commonwealth, concerning the imposition of health restrictions, with particular reference to tuberculosis, on intending immigrants to the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithThe United Kingdom is a party to the International Sanitary Regulations of the World Health Organisation and our Public Health Regulations give wide powers to port medical officers to deal with cases or suspected cases of communicable diseases.
