§ 69. Mr. Remnantasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will instruct the Inland Revenue to include in its next Report a table showing the cost of collection for each form of taxation and duty collected by them.
Mr. AmoryI have asked the Board of Inland Revenue to consider whether, and to what extent, this can be done. There are difficulties where the same staff are employed on more than one tax.
