§ Mr. N. MacphersonIn some eastern areas many more children than usual have recently been absent, as a result of various catarrhal conditions normally of a mild nature. The illness is thought to be a virus infection and laboratory investigation is proceeding. The treatment recommended is to keep the children at home as for a cold.
