87. Mr. Creech Jonesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a statement on the new West Aden Protectorate Federation.
§ Mr. J. AmeryThe new federation, with the title "The Federation of Arab Amirates of the South", will be inaugurated on 11th February. Immediately thereafter the Treaty between the United Kingdom and the Federation will be signed. I am happy to say that my right hon. Friend will be present at this ceremony. I am arranging for a copy of the English text of the Treaty to be placed in the Library of the House on 11th February.
