§ 53. Mr. W. Griffithsasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation when he expects to make the necessary order and regulations to enable the Manchester Corporation to proceed with their parking meter scheme, which has already been the subject of formal application.
§ Mr. WatkinsonThe Manchester Corporation asked for the extension to them of the provisions of the Road Traffic Act, 1956, so that they may apply to me for an order designating parking places in Manchester. I am at present considering this request, together with similar ones made by Bristol and Liverpool.
