§ Mr. Knox Cunninghamasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will state the number of certificates of officers of the Merchant Service and fishing fleet, respectively, which have been cancelled or suspended by courts of formal investigation held under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894, during the year 1958; and, in the cases of suspension, the period of such suspension.
§ Mr. WatkinsonDuring 1958 three officers of the Merchant Service had their certificates suspended, one for eighteen months, one for fifteen months and one for twelve months. During the same period one officer of the fishing fleet had his certificate cancelled and three had their certificates suspended for periods of eighteen months, twelve months and six months respectively.
