§ Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Health if he will state approximately the number or percentage of men and women, respectively, under the supervision of hospitals or appropriate institutions who are working for private employers.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithI assume that the hon. Member is thinking of mental and mental deficiency hospitals. A recent survey indicated that some 3,000–1.5 per cent.—patients resident in such hospitals are going outside the hospital to work. Of these, about 1,800 are men, and 1,200 women.
