asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider the removal of the discriminatory duty against table wines imported in bottle as compared with those imported in cask, in view of the arbitrary handicap that this places upon wines of the Rhine and Moselle areas, among others; and what purpose is served by this discriminatory duty.
