§ Mr. Mawbyasked the Minister of Transport if he will give the order of priority of the Cullompton, Plympton and Chudleigh by-passes on the A.38; and whether the original alignment of the trunk road is now to be adopted.
§ Mr. MarplesThe order of priority of these schemes has not finally been settled, but the Cullompton by-pass, which will ultimately form part of a new 169W road between Bristol and Exeter, will probably be constructed first. A.38 between Exeter and Plymouth is to be improved as far as possible on its existing alignment.
