Friend intends to issue special 3d. and 1s. 3d. stamps next year to mark the tercentenary of Charles II's Act establishing the "General Letter Office"—now better known as the G.P.O. He also intends to issue special 6d. and 1s. 6d. stamps to mark the first anniversary of 41W the setting up this year of the European Postal and Telecommunications Conference.
