asked the Postmaster-General whether he can now announce the result of the review which he has been making of possible future issues of special stamps.

Miss Pike

Yes. My right hon. Friend intends to issue special 3d. and 1s. 3d. stamps next year to mark the tercentenary of Charles II's Act establishing the "General Letter Office"—now better known as the G.P.O. He also intends to issue special 6d. and 1s. 6d. stamps to mark the first anniversary of the setting up this year of the European Postal and Telecommunications Conference.
