§ Mr. SoamesPhase I of the programme set out in the White Paper (Cmnd. 230) has been completed. The re-organisation of the Household Cavalry should also be completed by next July. No precise date has yet been fixed for the remaining cavalry amalgamation, that of the 9th and 12th Lancers.
