asked the Secretary of State for War (1) what land and buildings in Lincoln will become surplus to his requirements during the next twelve months;

(2) what he intends to do with the land and buildings in Lincoln which will become surplus to his requirements during the next twelve months.

Mr. Soames

The Royal Lincolnshire Regiment will leave Sobraon barracks in the second half of 1960, and some re-organisation of military property in Lincoln will then be possible. The new arrangements are not yet settled. I doubt whether there will be any property for disposal in the next twelve months.
