§ Mr. HeathMy predecessor made arrangements last April for publishing166W the unemployment figures as soon as they had been collated. I have now arranged for the process to be speeded up so that the Press communiqué will normally be issued nine days instead of fourteen days after the date of the unemployment count. As the date of the next unemployment count is 7th December, I expect the unemployment figures to be available for issue on Wednesday, 16th December.
