HC Deb 28 April 1959 vol 604 c112W
77. Mr. G. Thomas

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has considered the letter sent to him by Cornwall Circuit Limited, showing that entertainment tax and the Eady Levy paid by them absorbed nearly £27,000, leaving only £436 to service the £200,000 capital employed in the business; and what reply he has made.

Mr. Amory

Yes, and an acknowledgement has been sent.
