§ Mr. BevinsMy right hon. Friend is aware of the difficulties referred to in the Question. I am sending my hon. and gallant Friend a copy of the book "Trees in Town and City ", which was published last December. This book, which is illustrated, deals with the subject in some detail, and contains a useful bibliography. A circular was issued to all local authorities in England and Wales drawing attention to the book.
