asked the President of the Board of Trade on what date he received from the Cotton Board proposals for the reorganisation of the industry; to what extent these proposals provide for compensation for workers made redundant; and whether the Government have decided what Treasury funds will be made available for approved schemes of re-equipment and redundancy.
