HC Deb 26 November 1958 vol 596 cc59-60W
Mr. Skeffington

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is the number of vacancies in the police

force in the County of Middlesex; and how far the police stations at Hayes and at Harlington are below establishment.

Mr. R. A. Butler

The sub-divisions of the Metropolitan Police wholly or mainly within the County of Middlesex are 310 officers (male) below their current establishment. The numbers of officers at both Hayes and Harlington are substantially in excess of the current establishment.
