Mr. Wall

asked the President of the Board of Trade (1) the estimated value of coal and coke exports from the United Kingdom to Denmark for the year 1959; and what percentage increase or decrease this represents as compared with the figures for 1957 and 1958;

(2) the estimated value of United Kingdom exports to, and imports from Denmark for 1959; and what percentage increase or decrease this represents as compared with the figures for 1957 and 1958.

In view of the uncertainty of demand and other factors, no reliable forecast can be made of the value of United Kingdom trade with Denmark, either in general or in particular commodities such as coal and coke, in 1959.
