§ Mr. WatkinsonAlthough B.E.A. has a minority shareholding, Cambrian Airways is an independent operator, and its future is therefore for the company to decide. This winter its services have been suspended with the exception of the route Manchester—Cardiff—Bristol—Channel Islands which is being operated by Jersey Airlines as a contractor; but I understand that the company proposes to start operations again next spring with aircraft chartered from B.E.A., and that arrangements for these services are under discussion.
