HC Deb 12 November 1958 vol 595 c35W
Mr. Hayman

asked the Secretary of State for Air what facilities exist in Devon and Cornwall for private flying or gliding clubs; and how many active clubs there are in these two counties.

Mr. Neave

I have been asked to reply.

Clubs are at present based at aerodromes at Chivenor, Dunkeswell, Exeter, Perranporth and Plymouth. The aerodrome at St. Just is available for use by all light aircraft. The R.A.F. stations at St. Mawgan and St. Eval and the R.N. Air Station Culdrose are available for casual landings with the prior permission of the Station Commander. So far as I am aware there are five active clubs in Devon and Cornwall.
