HL Deb 21 May 1958 vol 209 c548WA
LORD FORBES

asked Her Majesty's Government the number of first-class and second-class sleeping berths on trains from Aberdeen to King's Cross that, during the months of February, March and April of this year, were (a) booked and taken up; (b) booked and then cancelled during the period of time allowed for cancellation.

LORD MANCROFT

My Lords, I regret that the figures requested by the noble Lord are not immediately available, and, since they fall more within the field of responsibility of the Chairman of the British Transport Commission rather than that of my right honourable friend the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, I have asked the Chairman of the Commission to be good enough to provide the noble Lord with the information.

House adjourned at nineteen minutes before seven o'clock.
