Fairmile Type Motor Launches

Captain Kerby

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty (1) the cost of converting the Fairmile type motor launches for use as inshore minesweepers; and how many were converted;

(2) to what extent the Fairmile type minesweeping motor launches are to be retained in reserve, in view of their omission from the Explanatory Statement to this year's Navy Estimates.
