§ The Prime MinisterMonitoring of radioactive fallout in rain water, soil, grass, milk and animal and human bone goes on continuously. The results are assessed and published from time to time. The last Report covered the year 1956 and included some provisional figures for 1957. A further Report covering the year 1957 will, I hope, be available about the middle of the year. As I have previously informed the House, the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation will be making a comprehensive report by July.
