§ Mr. Haleasked the Minister of Health whether he will give instructions that in consideration of the question of the urgency of gynaecological operations regard will be had to the nature of the patient's employment, to the question of financial need, and to the question of an associated nervous condition in the patient.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithThe assessment of urgency is in each case a matter for the surgeon in charge of the patient, and I do not think it would be appropriate for me to issue instructions of this kind.
