§ Mr. WatkinsonProposals for conditions of test and recommended limits of noise for new motor-cycles (including mopeds and scooters) have been discussed between my technical officers and representatives of the British Cycle and Motor Cycle Industries Association, and have now been agreed and will be recommended by the Association to the motorcycle manufacturing industry. I shall keep a close watch on developments. I am glad to acknowledge the co-operation given by the Association and by the Motor Industry Research Association.
