§ 71. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will postpone the proposed rent increases in respect of houses in Dundee owned by the Scottish Special Housing Association, in view of the high incidence of local unemployment and of the fact that these houses already attract the highest level of public authority houses in the city.
§ Mr. MaclayNo. I have approved these increases as being reasonable in amount, and have authorised the operation of a rent rebate scheme to prevent hardship in individual cases.
