§ Mr. Lennox-Boyd, pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 1st May, 1958; Vol. 587, c. 56], supplied the following information:
The number of schoolchildren attending the primary and secondary schools, both Government and private, are:
Primary 21,897 Secondary 941 The average cost for each pupil attending Government schools was £21 16s. 2d. at primary stage and £111 14s. 1d. at secondary. Similar information for private schools is not available.
