§ Mr. NugentThe permanent signals, which are very old, failed during the course of the road works now in progress and have been replaced, as a temporary measure, by police signals pending the provision of a new and up-to-date signal installation, for which a grant has been issued. When the proposed one-way working is introduced at the junction of Sussex Gardens, Westbourne Terrace and Westbourne Street, at the beginning of August, only one set of signals will be required instead of two.
