§ Mr. Sydney Irvingasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the results of the analysis of specimens of radioactive ore sent to the United Kingdom by Government geologists from the Fort Hall area of the Northern Province of Nyasaland.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydOf the ten specimens received two have shown a significant content of uranium oxide. The specimens came from loose surface material and further field work will be necessary before any conclusions can be drawn about the nature and extent of the deposits.
