§ 65. Mr. Warbeyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, as Co-Chairman of the Geneva Conference, why the headquarters of the International Commission for Supervision and Control in Vietnam have been transferred from Hanoi to Saigon.
§ Mr. Ian HarveyIn telling the Co-Chairmen of their forthcoming move to Saigon, the Commission did not say why they had made the decision, nor were they under any obligation to do so. They did, however, mention that they hoped thereby to effect an appreciable economy in their expenses, a share of which is paid, as the hon. Member will be aware, by Her Majesty's Government.
