Mr. F. Noel-Baker

asked the Postmaster-General when he will provide a telephone to Mr. R. R. Cottrell, 38, Gordon Road, who owns a driving school in Swindon.

Mr. Cottrell has a telephone at his business address at 38, Gordon Road. Shortage of plant has made it impossible, hitherto, to provide one at his home in Bishopstone. I am reviewing the position and will write to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
