§ Mr. John Hallasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action has been taken by the Sierra Leone Government following their consideration of the report of the Commission of Inquiry into the salaries and conditions of service of public servants.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Report of the Commissioner recommending improved salaries and terms of service was, subject to a grant of further increases in the scales of salary of the lower grades of the public service and to other minor modifications, accepted by the Sierra Leone Government in November last. The conversion of salaries to the new scales proposed took effect from 1st April, 1957.
