§ Mr. Sorensenasked the Attorney-General how many cases have been heard or are pending in the Bow County Court in respect of threatened evictions or pleas by landlords or tenants in connection with housing.
§ The Attorney-General,pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 9th December, 1958; Vol. 597, c. 51–52], supplied the following information:
Up to and including the 5th December, 38 actions for possession in respect of houses to which the Landlord and Tenant (Temporary Provisions) Act, applies had been entered in the Bow County Court. 242W Of these, two have been withdrawn or struck out, and 29 are still pending. In each of the 7 cases which have been disposed of, a suspension of execution was granted. It is not possible to say whether an application for such a suspension will be made in any of the pending cases until they are heard.
