§ Mr. Brockwayasked the Under-Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations how many African men and women, respectively, have been declared prohibited immigrants under Section 9 (1) (b) of the Bechuanaland Protectorate African Immigration Proclamation of 1958, or have been excluded from the Protectorates under other sections of the Proclamation, on the ground that they had refused to comply with Pass Laws of the Union of South Africa or any similar laws in operation in the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland.
