§ 82. Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs, in view of the fact that local authorities do not send information to his Department in respect of the number of families and persons who are now in temporary accommodation provided by welfare authorities arising from evictions and other causes, whether he will cause such information to be secured in order that this aspect of the national housing problem may be more accurately assessed.
§ Mr. H. BrookeMy right hon. and learned Friend the Minister of Health obtains this information once a year. It is published in his Department's Annual Report. I understand that he does not think more frequent collection necessary for his purposes, and I do not consider it necessary for mine.
