§ Mr. Patrick Maitlandasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when construction of the new fire-station at the new town of East Kilbride will be finished.
§ Mr. MaclayI understand that the Lanarkshire Fire Brigade Joint Committee has received tenders for the construction of a new station and that it hopes to start work in February or March, 1959. The Committee is unable at present to forecast when the station will be finished.
